It was a weekend of absolute cracker football. Football throughout Europe gave fans another reason why the sport is the greatest in history.

A day on from this, their city rivals, Manchester United defeated log leaders, Arsenal, 3-1 in a scintillating encounter at the Old Trafford. Also, Chelsea were able to overcome London rivals, West Ham, by winning 2 goals to 1. Liverpool on the other hand were held to a stalemate by arch city rivals, Everton.
Furthermore, in Spain, Real Madrid were able to hold on to a perfect start by beating Real Betis 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Meanwhile, their arch-rivals, Barcelona convincingly defeated a struggling Sevilla side with goals from Lewandoski, Raphina, and Garcia.
The Milan derby also saw Ac Milan emerge victorious while big guns like Juventus and Bayern Munich were held to draws respectively. While Messi and his teammates led Psg to a 4th convincing of the season.
